...So that's basically one variation. Nick Drake's fingers had a mind of their own so often the position of the B string triplets change randomly and common Am hammer-ons are used. In other words, play it how you feel it. The intro is a loose variation of the main pattern and here is the outro:

I hope all that isn't too confusing. I was a little confused writing it. I have a feeling that Nick Drake played this song in a strange tuning as a lot of his songs were, which would most likely make it easier to play. This is just the way i've always played it, and it's pitch perfect with the recording. Also I should note that this is based on the version on Tanworth-In-Arden, and the version on Family Tree is slightly different in picking patterns. Here are the words:

Alright I'm back! This song is too easy and it's incredibly late and I'm beat so I thought it would be a nice one to post. Maybe almost unnecessary but it's one of my favorites so it's got to go up. I don't really know what this song is about but I would really like to. If anybody knows please share. Random Things of Little Importance

April and May just flew by me in a whirlwind of drunken fucked up oblivion. But I think I'm back to earth now. At least for the past couple of days I have been. I still have many guitar related things to share with you in my mind I just need to find time to work on them, and lately I've been working on more original music which takes precedence over all else. Maybe I should stop writing this garbage and write some tabs.......Okay, I'll be back in like an hour or some shit.
